I like the look of that bike, the red frame really makes a bold look. I didn't have time to read the article yet.

I believe that the S1 is the sexiest Buell ever designed. It all went downhill when the X-1 tail was drafted on. Buell should have stayed with tubers a la Ducati and it could have been a success. Anyway, I really like this bike. Don't like the red frame as much, I'd gone all black or nickle plate the frame, but it's a truly beautiful rendition that would have been a huge sales success had Erik Buell gone that route.

I hadn't gotten past the red frame and trellis tail section. That rear shock is just AMAZING! I think there might be some John Britten influence, which is a good thing

I am with Bernard on this tubers with american power plant rule. I would have never bought my Buell had it not had an American motor in it!

I miss the days when you waited for your Battle2Win magazine to come in the mail so you could see the latest cool Buell custom. This bike would have fit right in.

Does anyone know where I can get tube mounted brackets that he is using to hold his breather can?

Go to Google Images and type in "shock reservoir clamp" you'll see about a hundred of them.

Jegs, Summit, the usual suspects, plus a bunch of smaller places.

That is a fantastic bike!

That's Canadian HP, Jim. You have to multiply by 2 and subtract 32.
I rode with Paul once, at Sportbikewest, years ago. He had a great story of hitting a grizzly bear. (Both lived.)
