Well i received the battery on friday and was fully charged, but i put it on a trickle charger until saturday afternoon. I then installed it and the bike started awesome first time (It was around 52 degrees F) Today i went to go for a ride (48 degrees) and it cranked and cranked and nothing. So i tried it again and it did the same NOTHING just cranking. I heard the fuel pump kick on and i smelt fuel in the exhaust. So i put it back on the charger for a couple of hours and BAMMMM it started second crank at the same temp so what the hell was that about. Ohhh before i put it on the charger the voltage was 12.6 but when i tried to start it the voltage went down to 3.2, is that due to a partially charged battery or what.. THANKS GUYS for any input

Sound's to me like the new battery is not holding it's charge. I would return it 4 a replacement. As eventually it will cause other problems

I have always liked & used genuine AGM last me around 5 years & exerlent warranty if u get. Bad one

It is kind of weird but the injectors will squirt but the ignition won't ignite when the battery gets marginal.
Before you cash in the battery, I would suggest at least a quick check of the charging system with a meter while it's running.

You should just get the drag specialties battery that American Sport Bike advertises as the same factory battery with all the anti vibe stuff we need.

If your on the east coast look around sometimes you can find for around 100 bucks shipped
