I am wondering what are some louder exhaust options I have... Right now I have a V&F pipe on it. Never heard a stock one or any other bike with something different.. any opinions?

D&D and Force are probably your best bet on what's left to actually buy in terms of the loudest.

Yup, what Brin said. The D&D is supposed to be pretty sturdy as well.

Or you can just ride without a helmet and yell everywhere you go, if just making a racket is what you are about. An open faced lid would suit this exercise equally well I suppose (!!!!!!BUELL!!!!!!)

Some other options out there - the Borla slip-on has a deep, throaty bass rumble that's got a much nicer tone than the V&H, I don't know how the volume level compares since I haven't listened to them side by side but the Borla on my friends M2 was sure loud when he got on the throttle. Supertrapp mufflers have several options available with regard to outlet type (open vs. closed cap) and number of disks your choose to run that will affect the volume of the muffler.

You could just keep running the Vance & Hines until the packing all blows out. It will get louder!

I like the buellistic mod, I see that one in my future with a modulating valve tied to my tach : ) My V&H gives me more wheelies than my stock pipe, it's just loud enough to hurt my ears a little at higher RPMs

Drummer made me a custom muffler to fit a race header. It is very well made and sounds awesome. I usually wear ear plugs but that is also to kill the wind noise.

There is a short youtube video of the Drummer on my M2, just search M2 Drummer. Sound quality of my camera isn't great but it will give you an idea. Drummer is a Badweb sponsor and a great guy to deal with.

I thought Kevin Drummer doesn't make the tuber exhausts any more, just XB? Did he start that back up?

I emailed Kevin a few months back and he said he would still do one.

I currently have the Supertrapp and LOVE it!

Yah, the Drummer website points you to their Facebook pictures, where they show a new 'standard' tuber muffler. Doesn't show the price. Maybe they reached saturation point on the X-frames after Buell shut down? He also makes a 'db-killer' for it, in case it's too loud. He did tell me that part was $70.

The SuperTrapp I tried before, it sounds really good with about 20 or 30 discs in there. But for my steady-speed morning commute, it kind of drones on you, not nearly as exciting after a while.

Here's a pic of a Drummer on an S3:

D&D will get you loud, which is what you asked for. I think I know someone selling the race version (you would still need the elbow to connect to the stock header), unless you have a race header then it would bolt right up.

The Drummer for the race header is a bit shorter than the one pictured in Wilson's link. You can see it on youtube. Kevin said that he was tooling up for them to be a production item and he had supplied one to Al at American Sport Bike so I thought they might start selling them. It is pretty much a stainless cylinder with a liner. Really well made and finished but straight through and pretty snarly! It feels like my M2 runs better however it could just be deafness and dementia setting in!

If you haven't found something you like.
I have a straight pipe, slip on. Needs a bracket on the back, this one had a 3/4" flat strap welded on that came off. You are welcome to it... Just pay to get it there from CO.
PM me if you want it.
