Well I changed my intake/carb manifolds/gaskets on my 99 M2 and put a 45 pilot and a 200 main jet. Found out my bike had a dynojet kit in it so the needle is on the 3rd slot from top with a shim under it.

Also cleaned and re oiled my filter and put an SSR2 on to replace a very open exhaust that came on the bike

Anywas, now when I hit the throttle hard I get a hesitation at first then the bike will jump in. I have never been very good at figuring out if I need to jet up or down or change the needle or what. Any ideas on what I should try to get rid of the hesitation.

The bike starts and idles MUCH better with the 45 in there, no choke needed and fires everytime, whereas before I needed to choke to start the bike when it was cold.

Thanks,
Spencer

If you were running an Amal ...

If I remember correctly, that type of hesitation is lean, so might try raising the needle one notch.

Might also contact dynojet for assistance.
