Lights came on after parked and killed the battery. The ignition switch and battery were replaced under warranty. I've been keeping an eye on my current S3 to see if it is a common problem.   Alfau Posted on Sunday, September 23, 2012 - 05:49 pm:        This is a safety feature for emergency parking. Push down (depress) the ignition key (when) as you turn off the ignition to bypass the parking lights function. Use electrical contact cleaner for that. However lubricants can and do gather dust. Flush the lock free of dust and water with the spray as often as you wash the bike or it's out in the weather.
