Author Message   Jhuppdog Posted on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 - 01:04 pm:        I have noticed a pinging noise coming from the bike when I reach higher rpms. I do not hear the pinging noise when I ride normal at lower rpms but when I really get on it, it starts making a pinging noise at the higher rpms. It sounds similar to when you run low octane gas in your car and the engine starts pinging. I run 93 octane in the bike at all times. Is there something I should look at or be doing differently?
