well yesturday i was up early to ride 200mile to visit a friend for the day. i left 5.30am warmed up motor then went. i had been riding for just over two hours straight had gone about 130miles was in the mountains middle of nowhere and the bike started runing a bit sick also speedo stopped working so did tach. so pulled off edge of road ( not much room ). finished up pushing the bike up a hill to a clearning as was not safe were it stopped. i got in touch with my friend & he said he would bring a bike trailer out to get me. when i went to re start half hour latter there was no power at all so knew was electrical. the battery is less than one month old & i ride the bike every second day if not raining. when i put the new battery in i checked it was being charged from the system when it was runing at 3,000rpm so it was working. we also checked alternator this past week when i put in new clutch it all looked good & normal. then my friend showed up we put jumper leads on and it got power so must be battery. the tach needle had gone right around to past 8,000 or 9,000 rpm. any idea's?

Im in the process not of swapping out a battery, under warranty, that was 2 weeks old! Bike was running fine, stopped at a hardware store, went to crank up the bike, got half a starter engagement, then nothing. Had my buddy pick me up in his truck and tested the battery when I got home. 13V with no load, 0.5V with the key on. FRUSTRATING!!
