Hey guys, I have intake seals and rocker gaskets to do this weekend. I already have the rocker gasket kit and manifold to head seals.

Does anyone have the PN for the two seals, intake - throttle body and TB - manifold? I searched but couldn't find anything.

I was wondering also if the EVO sportster number would work? Would make life easier at the HD parts counter.

As long as I am in there, I want to replace the injector o-rings, I found the dimensions and type in a thread and figured napa or another store would stock but if anyone had a number or updated suggestion for those it would help a lot.

Thanks!

also - buy new bolts for your rocker boxes, at least the seven smaller ones.
So today, using the tq specs in the factory service manual, I had a bolt break off into the head.
Im chancing it, going to go to the race tomorrow (well hell, I'll be racing in 12 hours, I got to get to bed) and hoping it'll hold up ok

Thanks for the input, I was not able to get at it over the weekend and I just called HD and got part number 29539-99y - TB seal rings, which are different than sportster intake - TB seals. They said it would be a week before they could have it in, so unless someone has a suggestion for a more readily available substitute, I'll wait on them

Get a parts manual for your model and stop messing around with the HD morons. go to this website and punch in part numbers make one big purchase for shipping discount but all parts are 20% off msrp. You must have your own part numbers to find anything there.

Get the PARTS BOOK for your YEAR/MODEL because the H-D PARTS
persons will tell you this or that part will not fit your BUELL when the PARTS BOOK says it will !!!

that 29539-99Y is the same PN# in my book (for 2000 X1).
I dont see PN# for injector o-rings tho. As long as its the right kind of rubber for use with Gas and the dimensions are correct i dont think it will be a prob.
