OK I repaired all the crash damage from last year and the S3 was running as good as ever on the lift table. I decided to pull off the old SAE pigtail for the charger. I sparked the hot wire pretty good, and now the accessory position works and the tail light/ turn signals work,but when I put the ignition switch in the start/run position, I have no fuel pump, no headlights, horn or starter. I checked the fuses and they are OK but I still have a dead S3. Any ideas about a main fuse somewhere? Thanks | ||

well, in the time it took for mr to open the manual, look for main circuit breaker and or fuse/relay, I said a short prayer to Joe Lucas, the patron saint of motorcycle electrics and found one. I removed the fuel tank and tail section, and began to test connections as well as unplug and replug every fuse/relay/diode I could find. I noticed my headlight came on and the horn worked, I checked for power at the fuel pump connector and there was power. I bumped the starter and it bumped. Huh... I buttoned everything back and she fired right up and runs like before. I guess Tubers are so Grand that they can heal themselves. | ||

IIRC, S3's have a main Circuit Breaker where if there is an overload, it open-circuits for a short time and then resets. If so, that's what likely happened. | ||
