another tip for torque wrench owners - always spin/click your wrench back down to the minimum level for storage, releasing tension on the spring.

Make sure to clean bolt holes out with a tap and compressed air to make sure the bolt does not bottom out.

VERDICT: There is a lot to know just to use a torque wrench and torque a fastener correctly !!!

im kinda curious now. he didnt mention anything about how much fun it was to remove the broken bolts. Did he get them out? was it actually not a prob? or did the new bolt get installed on top of the broken bolt?
The original problem sounds like a bad torque wrench and no "calibrated" elbow.
