I have been out riding and enjoying my X1 now that its finished... for now... Just wanted to post a few new pics with my new camera- just had the bakes shifter, B2R pegs and Brake lever, and penske clamps all black anodized. Also found the springs and pins needed to upgrade for the pegs. Now i just need to ceramic coat my race header and get that on...        (Message edited by purpony on June 22, 2012) | ||

WOW - that's really nice! I really like that tail section - was never fond of the cast one on the X1's. I'm with DQG above - post up some pics of the right side, too, if ya don't mind. GREAT JOB! | ||

..Marc,i've said it way too many times before......but that's the way the X-1's SHOULD of been from the factory.Hands down,bar none....No offense to Erik intended at all.Just that your bike has that....that's how it should look about it.Always have been impressed and envious of you and your bike and the way it has evolved to where it is now  Definitely a top notch bike all around.LT | ||

thanks all- appreciate the kind words! the only new pic I have of the other side it this one... there was to much stuff in the background and the lighting was not great so i didnt take many. When the storm is over outside, ill try and get some more-  Saddle is a Buell aftermarket piece... i think it was called the pro seat? Someone correct me if im wrong. I was lucky to find it on ebay a year or so ago brand new in the box! | ||

Very tastefully done. Aside from the tail section I also really like the wheels and the matching rear sprocket. If someone pushed me to find one thing I didn't like that would be the hand guards. | ||

In the process of doing the xb wheel swap on my x1. Did you ever get a chance to make up a batch of those wheel spacers? I have the measurements and need to buy some aluminum stock to machine. But first I wanted to check if you or if you know of anyone that has the rear spacers for sale? | ||
