Author Message   Jnorton Posted on Tuesday, June 19, 2012 - 01:32 pm:        So when you remove the black factory plastic intake housing on a 1999 X1, how do you hold down the tank cover? You are left with two tabs on the front of the cover but no place to fasten them. Is welding tabs on the frame the answer, or is there an easier solution? I just assumed yours had the frame tabs.
