OK folks, I need a current part #.
The number I have for the sprocket bolt isn't coming up.
I have 3245Y for the bolt. Checking LSDH1 it doesn't come up.
I hesitate to call a HD dealer for a Buell part number, we all know how that will go...

Lessons learned. Easyouts are EVIL!!!
What a colossal PITA..

Thanks James, I thought they were something other than a grade 8, there is another marking on it besides the 6 lines.
I guess I was thrown off by the little triangle that's also there along with the lines.

That makes things MUCH easier..

Well, my Blue Baby now has new shoes!
Finally got the rear wheel/sprocket situation squared away, the new tire (BT-023) on and everything back on the bike.
Front is done as well. Need to do a bit of riding now, might not get to that until tomorrow, suppose to start raining in a bit.

Oil change, primary chain adjust, and a good once over done today. Think I have my pack situation figured out, so I'll be ready for blast off Thursday morning.

Sorry, I have a last minute cancellation. I just found out that my job was one of the 425 in Minnesota that is being downsized (general mills). A real bummer too, as it was unexpected. My performance reviews have all been great, I don't understand it. Anyway, hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable Round-Up. I will be working on my resume and trying to finish the house.

Ride safe,

Neil

Neil,
That really sucks. All of us are walking on egg shells. We find out next week. Not very pleasant times around the "Mill" these days.
I'll give you a call later.

We're about to eat breakfast here, I'll have Shane on the road to Madison in no time.

Well as you see from the above posts, Shane arrived here at Casa de Crisis Center a little after 8:00 last evening.

A beer or so later and a bit of unwind time it was time to put the toys away.

Then a bit more unwind time..... Shane has found a buddy for the evening. Interesting back story, last year Donny took a liking to Shane, maybe a little too much. Seems he liked chewing on the cuff of Shane's pant leg. Yup, same pants complete with little Donny teeth holes! Have Shane show you when we get to AR..
(Ignore the boxes of flooring in the background.. the kitchen is under remodding..)

After a breakfast of OJ, waffles and breakfast links, Shane is on his way to Madison to spend Fathers Day with his daughter.

Shane travels the way I wish I could. Sometimes my OCD gets the best of me and I end up planning way too much and do not enjoy the journey. I sure did enjoy my travels with Shane and Jack last year. Nothing really planned save my stay at your house which ended up being three people vice 1 and 2 nights for me vice 1. And of course the Corn Palace which I sure Shane will remember the worse dinner we had the entire trip but we were so hunger that we ate it in earnest.

Brad, I hated introducing myself to your wife over the phone yesterday as "the guy that got very sick and could not ride the next day." I sure do remember your wires outstanding hospitality.

I am glad Shane made it Brad and it looks like he made it to your house while the sun was still up. That guy travels a lot of miles on that classic Buell.

Anyone can do those kind of miles on a XB/Loki/brand X... Only a special few can do them on a tuber.

BTW Brad, no spoons in the garage????

Brad,
It looks like Drew won't be making it, he just started a new job.

3-4 other guys want to ride down with us. I told them about the S2 gathering but that we may have a couple of beds available. If you haven't promised those to someone else maybe we could save a couple of bucks.

A couple of them are ex-Buellers but now ride 'real bikes' (just kidding). They will most likely go out on their own and meet up with us at the end of the day.

Let me know.

I got your stinking spoons right here! And this is only some of them!

Don't worry about the odd intro, it worked as she remembered who you were right away. I passed on your gracious comment, she turned red....

Well I arrived yesterday at my daughters house in Madison WI with 2004 on the trip odometer from home last Thursday night. I always forget how much work it is to rack up miles like that. A couple days here then down through Dubuque Iowa and then south on 61 to I-44 across Missouri and drop down through Branson to Arkansas. I am guessing 2.5+ days? Roll in sometime Friday afternoon/evening.
Thanks again to Brad and Jan for the great hospitality!

Shane
