I really like Dunlop 616 tires.

They are great for wet weather.

Problem is that I can't find them in the Dunlop catalog.

Have these tires been discontinued?

If so, I may have to put some away for later use.

Tires don't keep! They will harden over time and turn to wood.
This is why tire places don't usually have a huge stock. You have to rotate the stock like produce.

Have you tried looking into Pirelli tires?
I have a set of scorpion trails on my Uly and they feel great.

All is good.

Another member on the Uly section told me that they are now in the Sport section of the Dunlop Catalog.

I just checked under the Sport category and there they were!

This is important to me because I just put a set on my Suzuki Bandit 1200 and they work great on that bike and they really grip in the wet.

Now I am thinking of putting a set on my S3T.

I have the scorpion sync on my bike. I had to get a front tire this year. I notice all the online vendors had the scorpion syncs on clearance. I went to pirelli's site and they don't list the scorpion syncs any more, just the scorpion trails.

For your S3T....I'd go with Michelin Pilot Road2 or Road3 dual compounds.

I run the hell out of the 616 on my Uly (see the other thread). But...my S2 has PR2's and my S1W has PR3's.

I love the 616 for it's "all-around-ness".

I don't "all-around" my tubers like I do my Uly. I don't need the offroad/loose-stuff capability on the tubers. But, I HAVE been through a good 1/2" of standing water on the S2 with PR2's and not had a problem.
