S3 is closer to M2 than anything else.

S2 is more RS/RSS...if you have to compare it to anything. But it's really kinda its own animal.

Thanks, I hoped the top tube pattern might fit the bottom of an S2 plastic inner tank. I've never measured an S3 and don't want to mess up an S2 frame.

Fuel tanks may be but S-2 had a black "fuel cell" covered by a fiberglass tank cover where the later tubers had a plastic tank with paint on it.Know an S-1 tank fits on an S-2 frame,
