found another shortcut in the previous owner's maintenance, cost me a broken header AGAIN. The front muffler hanger bushing was shot, with a 1/4" bolt thru a 5/16" opening. I had a buddy do some major welding to get the pipe back in one piece. One minor success, I didn't want to wait on a mail order to get the bushing, so I made one out of several discs of rubber gasket material. check out the pics. I used a gasket punch 7/8" O.D. with a 3/8" punch for the I.D., and it fit like a glove. I hope this helps someone

I know you don't want to hear it but you should really upgrade to the new front y-mount (new "bushing" is excellent btw)

yeah if they didnt cost an arm and both legs... cant believe how pricey they are for what you get
