Don't waste your money if you are hard on the throttle.

We used a Muller clutch on both our XB race bikes and never had any problems. I have also used them on every Buell and H-D road bike I have owned for 15 years....again no problem.

I suspect that instructions weren't read when adjusting yours, as it is slightly different to he stock clutch adjustment.

I really can't figure out why the factory (Buell or H-D) didn't fit these as standard and just pay Mr Muller a Royalty for parts fitted.

in addition to what has already been suggested , i would check that the tank gas filter is not clocked up & restricting flow. also if it has a vacum shut off gas petcock. that could possibly be a problem at higher rev. if it was electrical issue i would think it would miss fire. so think its a gas supply issue.

I ordered a cheap ramp that had longer groves cut in for like $35 . It had a slightly longer arm on it too from jp cycles I think. It helped. I would say about 20-25% easy pull and that was with shorty levers.

The only problem with the cheaper 'bolt on' extended arms is that they put the clutch cable at a more extreme angle where it enters the prmary case (as well as adding more bolt on moving parts that can conceivably break or fall off!). Over extended use I have seen a couple of clutch cables fray and break because of the angle into the chaincase. Also some of the extended levers designed for the Buell XB range won't work on teh earlier bikes as they can hit the inside of the primary case.

The Muller clutch has the advantage that it just replaces the stock ramp assembly and ball bearings, so keeps the cable angle and moving parts the same as stock, but improves clutch action.

BEWARE OF anything that you change on your BUELL that is adjusts differently than that in the FACTORY SERVICE MANUAL as the HARLEY-DAVIDSON technicians at these BUELL SERVICE CENTERS will not have a clue how to correctly do the adjustments ...

You have to remember they still do not know how to adjust the primary chain and drive belt after all these years ...

I have decided to change it back to stock. I prefer the clutch to engage and disengage quicker. To h--- with the ease of pull as my stock M2 does not bother me. I believe my shifting is not as good.
