Finally got around to a little bit of work on my s1. made a kickstand shaves nubs on the swing arm

the kickstand will be black I just had some orange paint and thought of it for a moment but decided definitely against it. still waiting on titanium hardware to permenently mount it. |

it took me many years to figure out what was on the cover of cycle world. a 1996 cbr 900 rr kickstand was used. I found 1 on ebay . of course it had to be cut ,lengthened,then turned on lathe ,then weld a foot on but I could not ask for a better positioning ,function, or mount. |

No . I am a master certified tech in just about every brand. Sans Harley,my Buell is the only of that ilke I mess with. Any way, it is looser than necessary but believe me I am well aware of the damage that a tight belt will cause . I've seen it all. |

Thylacine: That is nice to know ... Well "i" am a HARLEY-DAVIDSON UNIVERSITY CLASS of 1959 graduate and can do technician type work ... The offer still stands as "i" may remember some OLD SCHOOL information that technicians are not taught ... |

I really like the look of it. And the little added details. Two questions though what size and brand is the rear tire? And info on the clutch lever perch assembly? Thanks |

clutch lever is CRG. Rear tire 190/55/17 Michelin pilot power. |

Nice ride! Did you do all the polishing of the cases, swing arm, etc.? How was it done or did you buy them? You have given me some great ideas for improvements to my S2. |

yes I actually polish them all myself with elbow grease, my fronts and rear motor mount an d upper and lower triple trees are the only 2 pieces I have left maybe the lower forks too |
