So I laid my x1 down and got some rash on the intake but the filter took the majority. I assume its forcewinder intake like a oval type shape. Anyone got a part number The only other part that was hurt was the rear brake pedal broke off and the headers were the worst of all with some major rash, so i guess im looking at a full d&d system ASAP. |

did the same to mine some years ago... just looked at my filter and it is a K&N and the only number on it it F024E4. size and shape is identical to what came on the Forcewinder but it has a Chrome end cap and the original was just black rubber. |

I stand corrected - its RC-3680 (K&N Part number) - has the polished endcap on it Kilroy |

FYI, in case you were considering one of the off brands sold on Ebay, I bought one and it lasted 2 riding seasons as the rubber dried and cracked rendering it useless. Now I have a K&N again! |

Do they have this or possibly another model that fits, but with a 'filter' front-end, instead of the metal cap? They did make it in other styles starting a few years ago. |
