I can lend a hand if you want, but I'm strictly a hobbyist (when it comes to timeframe). I'm also a believer in the "teach a man to fish" theory...so I'd probably hand you tools at least once during the process ; )

Any help would be appreciated. Fahren - yes, recently relocated the family to MD, near DC. the lack of Buell support on east end of long island was too tough. and Ratbuell - I've turned many wrenchs on my buell (probably why its in the condition is in...) so any tutorial will always be well taken. I hate to admit it, but I love working on my buell almost as much as I love riding it. problem is I've been working on it more than riding it. my lack of knowledge is in the spotlite on getting it back in shape.

"I can lend a hand if you want, but I'm strictly a hobbyist (when it comes to timeframe)." +1 on what ratbuell said for myself also. I was a motorcycle tech for 15yrs. Do things that are more lucrative now. Have had my 98' since 98 and it has never seen the dealer.I do some side work for a select few when needed.

Where at in MD are you? Maybe we could hook up for a ride

Blue - got your PM, will reply. Happy to help out!

Langperf - I'm in Cascade, between Thurmont and Hagerstown and smack in the middle of some of the best roads in the area! : ) 550, 77, 64, 66, 17...hehe...what a great neighborhood for a motorcycle....(and that's not even counting the BACK-back-roads!)
