i took mine out what i had the section painted, i want to re install them, what is the best way to go about doing this. i know i need to use the double sided sticky pad, but how do i get them in without the pad sticking before i get it to the correct position, and without scratching the new paint?? any tricks |

I just bought some of the black 3M double sided tape and cut the shape i needed and put them on the tabs. Then you can slightly bend the tap together and fit it in place and then reach behind and press them tight. They went in pretty easy. Knowing how had they are to find these days, i took a small black wire tie and put one through one of the holes and around the frame just in case them came loose i didnt loose them! |

I may have to wire mine in also. They are rare now! Mine were install exactly like purpony said. I just used a small screw driver stuck through the screens to press the tabs down so they stuck really well. |

Secured them with a little bolt in the tail section. Need a tornado to get them out Also have the double sided tape on them. peeled off one side and put them on the screen. To install them i peeled of just a little bit on the outside of the tape and fold it towards the outside. now it's much easier to bring the screen in position, because just a little bit from the tape can stick to the paint. when i brought the screen in position i could pull out the remaining plastic from the tape with tweezers. |
