I am missing what I think is a bolt form the bottom of my Supertrapp muffler. I'm not sure exactly what it would be for except to maybe hold the core in place?

Can anyone tell me if that was indeed a bolt and if so, what thread & approximate length?

Thanks

Kris

There is a screw that holds the core in place that screws in from the bottom. Should be a 1/4 x 20. Maybe 3/8 of an inch long.

Hmmm... I tried one of the end cap bolts which are 1/4x20 & it didn't thread into anything. I wonder of the core rotated or slid back?
