I bought a new ECM on ebay for my X1 to have as a spare but do not know if it is already programmed or not. Is it possible to tell from part number or do you have to install and plug in to find out. Numbers on buell box are N0306.QA and the numbers on ecm are N0306.QA 00263 and below that are US16KA210 .

you could use ecmspy to compare the eeprom to see if it has been tweeked.
