Hey everyone,

Im looking to put a 2001-2002 M2L shock on my 1999 m2. i'm sick of being on my tippy toes at every red light. will the M2L shock fit my bike?

I believe the answer is yes.

There is more to making an M2 into an M2L than just the rear shock. The front forks can also be modified, the side stand is a shorter length, and the seat is different.

The topic has been addressed here before and there should be some threads that outline all of the differences and even part numbers. Look around M2 archives and also the knowledge vault.
