Gentlemen, I currently have a giant chrome "Daytona Boss" muffler, it is heavy and looks like it belongs on a pimped out Kenworth. I also managed to get a NOS Buell race muffler (just like the one on my S3) but no luck on the header search. Can I just get the 90 degree elbow from D&D to use the buell can?

The obvious solution is to get a piece fabricated, I'd rather not, but we can't always get what we want. Right Mick?

I have one of those daytona bosses too.
LOUD but very effective.

Mounting hardware is TRASH.
I used to have to ride around with a wrench and was jamming shims in the clamps trying to keep it from jiggling around.
My final solution:

I took it off the bike, cleaned all of the mounting surfaces, reinstalled so it was not straining against the header then....

I welded the bastard!

I brazed the pipe against the stainless clamps.
I then took it back off of the bike and REALLY brazed the clamps. Like filled with bondo only brass!

Never rattles loose NEVER muahahahaha!!!

Sorry, what were we talking about again?

I like your style-ism, I may be forced to do that. For now I'm looking for a way to use my bell race can.

After my exhaust can disassembled itself I used my 90 degree elbow from WileyCo along with a auto glass pack. Although heavy, I love the all steel/welded construction. the sound is a little dull for me, but it is just a temperary fix until I complete my own new exhaust.
