hello all,

i am wondering if the headlight harness from an S3 would work for an S1? or if the different shaped lights also have different plugs/connectors...

I think they're the same but if not, they're both automotive lights. You can get a replacement plug/connector at any auto parts store.

thanks Joe,

i was just gonna try to keep from having to cut and splice the wires. I think i'm gonna need the harness for a hopeful upcoming S1, and all i found for sale on fleabay was the harness for an S3, hence the question..

What happened to your current harness?

You can remove the spade connectors from inside the plastic plug if you have a teeny-tiny screwdriver or a dental pick, and re-insert them into the new plug...if the plastic is the only part that broke.

well the S1 i might possibly be considering acquiring, doesn't have one. The bike found its way in a ditch at some point and that is one of the few pieces missing to the puzzle...
