So my front pulley has loosend up again, this is after about 5000 miles. It's cut in a bit and the hold down plate gives it a little slop but I tightened it according to the manual, and used red locktite. Now I am considering using Jim's Mega Nut rather than order a new nut. Is my Locktite too old or what? What would you do?

Have 111K plus miles on my 1997 S3T and still using the OEM nut that came on it ...

My secret is anti-size thread compound and the proper torque ...

That means not only on the threads, "BUT" anywhere there is metal to metal contact which allows you to get the proper torque ...

All right, the exact opposite of what I did. I torqued it according to the manual and then gave it the required extra rotatation. So forget the loctite.

New or different pulley is what I'd do.
