So I just finished my headlights and straight bars... Lathed up a velocity stack and one of the flame arrestors from my race ski... that was an awesome improvement.

What is in the works is an aluminum swing arm... which eventually will be followed by a ducati Swing arm, when i get around to purchasing ANOTHER ducati wheel....

Raising the rear 1"

Trimming the Cam cover

Shortening the tail 2" or so.

As much as I love my KT systems header, its been through hell, and really is just cracked and rusted beyond all hope... I'll be putting on a stock header, even though I dont like how far it sticks out past the cam cover compared to the KT...

I keep debating if I should cut off the rear peg stays or not....

What would you do for the next thing?

-dash from motogadget

A) its staying black. I cant stand blue anyway. I would like to get a bronze wheel, but cant find one.

B) I think XB rear wheels are hideous and a horrible chunkly and unsleek design

C) already have the Ducati swing arm half built.

D) would LOOOVE the motoscope mini display... I'll get to that one day.

E)Headers on the way.

F)Paint... yea. I cant decide. I usually like my bikes to have a beatup tone, with fancy highlights to make them pretty. I'm thinking keeping the wartorn black paint and painting really sexy logo and racing stripe down one side.

And no way I'm getting rid of the belt tensioner! That lets me run the belt tight without snapping. PLus it just looks cool as shit hanging that low.

Aside from being round. I see no similarities.

If I wanted ducati wheels , i would sell all the wheels ( pm rear/ducati rear/xb front) and buy this set:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Ducati-MARCHESINI-Aluminum -Front-Rear-Wheels-Wheel-Rims-749-999-Rim-Back-OEM -/350521629325?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&vx p=mtr&hash=item519cb79a8d#ht_2344wt_689

Matching pair : )

Not really a fan of that style. I had one of those rears, and it just didn't really look right. Too blocky, not as smooth as this one.

Plus its not for a single sided hub.

True, the wheels are not a match, but when the bike is propelling itself and you forward as intended, the spoke pattern is but a blur. Good reason to keep riding.

I dont know...I just really have always hated the XB rears. They are so chunky and ... well just not Sexy looking. If the spokes were seperate like the front it would be different, but they filled in the area so they could use a cheaper alloy.

The belt tensioner is attached with 2 bolts vertically into the bottom of the engine mounting block. Where to place it is easy. The rolling tangent of the pully has to be directly under the pivot point. The bike does wheelies smoother with the belt that tight...

Good point Fahren. ;]
