Assuming your talking about the REAR pulley.

The covers are held on with the pulley bolts.
You can pic them up on the cheap. Why have one made?

Some of them are bolted to the front pulley with the same two (longer)bolts as the locking plate is bolted on.
and it is also possible to drill some new holes into the pulley that matches with the pulley cover

this is not mine ,but i like it!

That's pretty cool. Know what the cover is from?

I got this one from American Sport Bike, not sure if they still stock it. The red is a second layer to the cover, the cover itself uses longer allens to secure through the locking plate. The smaller screws secure the top cover for a cleaner, more balanced look.

I like the mechanical look of the one Mees posted up though. Would like one like that maybe.

The red cover above was made by Crossroads Performance. They call it a Pulley Skin.I don't know if they still offer it.I've got a black one.

Rizoma makes very nice covers for xb's and sportsters. Have emailed them if they would fit a earlier buell pulley bit never get a answer.

Does anybody know if they would fit or could be modified?

Ooohhh, so nice! I love their swingarm brace.

I think the pulley's are pretty close on the bikes. I've got to pull my front pulley cover from my XB anyway so I'll get measurements for yal in the next day or so, if someone can compare to their tuber pulley and post that up as well?

I've made a careful comparison of the pulley cover plate to my XB front pulley, and as far as I can tell the XB pulley is the same as the tuber part... what I mean is that I think they are made from the same blank, regardless of the number of teeth.

I don't really want to pull the cover from my tuber, but can, and see if it will mount to the XB.

I'm not 100% sure on this but they look the same for mounting hardware and at least pulley size and hardware location.
