This biker is wearing a soon to be compulsory high-visibility vest - all that's need according to the proposed European legislation! The proposed legislation fails to consider what protective clothing must be worn underneath that vest to ensure the safety of all riders.   Buellistic Posted on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 - 11:27 pm:        The GOVERNMENT should not be telling you what to wear while riding your motorcycle, ie: full face helmet, gloves, proper jacket/pants,and safety bright color vest as you should be smart enough to do it on you own !!! I agree, there are quite a few folks I'd like to see get "naturally de-selected"...but the legal system continues to get in the way. Required gear laws don't protect the •••••••, so much as they protect the rest of us, and our ability to ride on public roads. Too many lawsuits?
