nice looking motorcycle! did not all of the S3s come with the clock? Looks like there is a factory piece, a blank, in the hole on his dash. Yes, I read it, that he added the clock since, just didnt know if some had not come with the clock or something | ||

I mean, it looks like it's in nice shape, but it's nothing special. No PM wheels, not what I would consider desirable colors, and doesn't look to have the race air box (maybe gutted inside?) or the Buell race muffler. Seems he's looking for nearly twice what it's worth. | ||

Yep that's how it goes -- As we speak the wife is providing funds so I can get my Thunderbolt all fixed up to sell ---I told her I thought $6200 firm was a fair price for a classic S3 -- I'll keep my fingers crossed that there are no eccentric Buell-loving millionaires out there. | ||

Looks like he has a "daytona boss" muffler. Awesome muffler, deafening loud, absolute GARBAGE mounting hardware. My X1 has had one since they day I rolled it home. I'd be interested to see how "It has some performance adders put on by original owner & Erik Buell: racer tunner, pipe and airbox." added up to 112 RWHP. |
