That's a gem. Where on earth did you get that? An old dealer video? Thanks for sharing. |

Butch, Thanks for posting that. I have been complaining about the new HD commercials because they completely miss the whole point. The videos you posted make me want to go out and ride the motorcycle. The longer I own my Buells, the more I appreciate them. Erik's explanation on the video is what is a perfect example of what is missing from the new HD ads. |

I'm pretty sure it was targeted at the dealer level. You know, put the tape in a TV/VCR combo and have it play over and over to generate some interest from the customers in the dealerships. I'm also believe it's the same version as the tape I have from back in the day. However, I'd really LOVE to see the original version again - with the rider of the S1 standing it up on it's back wheel! Probably a big part of the reason the S1 wheelie shirt existed.
The European marketing stuff was more open to showing similar types of Hooliganistic acts. I'm not Court, but I hope that I will do- 1313 |

>>>>with the rider of the S1 standing it up on it's back wheel! That's no rider . . . that's my brother. I've got a bunch of those shirts boxed somewhere . . . but the one I used to wear was slightly "modified" with the addition of a big arrow pointing to him The bright side of things is that my wife, last weekend, has issued a "CLEAN THE BASEMENT OUT" ultimatum. |

>>>>It is very thin, but it is very warm Hahahaha . . . I went back and looked Brankin's collections . . and you are right that shirt WAS warm. Rich Teerlink, HD Chairman at the time, had me fly down from Topeka to San Antonio for the HD dealer meeting for the intro of a new Buell product and to listen to a couple dicks speak about the upcoming "Buell Academy". That afternoon was a reception and Erik and I were to debut the new Buell shirt . . . it was a freakin' black mock nexk in a wool like material and it was something like 104 degrees . . . Ended up going drag racing in some dealers parking lot that night and had a pretty good time. I still have and love the shirt . . it's a keeper. |

I'll check and see what stickers I have . . . Somewhere there are a couple cases of leftover tank decals, stickers and so forth. I recall there were some unopened cases of 1998 brochures and stickers still in plastic . . it's a crap shoot when she starts digging through this stuff. |

I used to have that S1 shirt with Court's brother. I wore it to death but would probably pay a good penny for 2 larges. One to frame next to the Snap Red S1 in the dining room, and one to wear. When I bought my bike the HD dealer said you get a free Harley shirt. I told them I bought a Buell and didn't want a Harley shirt. Took about 10 minutes to convince them but I finally got that S1 wheelie shirt. All my buddies on their Hondas didn't get why I wanted something different. They get it now. I still like Hondas but glad I made the leap long ago. 3 Buells in the garage\house now....and 1 Honda. |
