I have a High Voltage Yellow '96 S1 I purchased new back in 1996. I have not used it much in the last 10 years and perhaps the time has come to sell it. How much are these going for these days? For a while there the bottom had fallen out of the Buell market.

4-5k depending on the mileage, condition and if you can hold out for the right buyer.

After looking at the pic and all the mods I would keep it and start riding it again.

Nice scoot!

I agree with Jramsey, unfortunately you won't get what it is worth especially with the mods it has. I think they are usually listed in the 3-5000 range, I don't know what they sell for though?

The mods will add $0.

Unless . . you have the full Buell race kit or did the "Henry Duga documented race prep". That will add $300.

Beyond that . . . I'd go with the $3,000 to $5,000.

If I had one now . . . and I have a couple others that fall into the same category . . I'd have to have a damn good reason to sell.

Amen, Court.

It pains me knowing how rarely I've been riding my tubers these days...but I can't bring myself to part with them. They may be "resting" more than they should...but they're still in a good home, and still amazing motorcycles.

I still get 'em out and beat on....er...."ride" 'em every once in a while ; )

Hey,

I did not know my old profile was still available. Since that picture I have re-installed the stock rear fender and now the paint on the tank is well bubbled. I never had any of the recalls done. You guys have convinced me to continue to save my S1. Always liked the styling. Performance was always lackluster and I never liked the suspension. Hard to beat jap bikes.
Nothing much matters anymore since I don't ride much except around the block when I start the bikes to exercise their motors.

I am sorry the company folded. Erik is still at it but prices are now quite a bit higher. Too bad the modern motor on the 1125 did not get a lot of time to shine.

No recalls and bubbling paint does not bode well on price. Let's be honest, we've seen these bikes go for quite a bit less than $3,000.

Is the mileage high? Your profile says 49,000 - is that you personally or the bike?
