You get them from the dealer. You need your key code and they are around $22 a pair. You can't buy just one.

You could also swap out the ignition tumbler with a new one that already has its own set of keys....But it will not operate the other locks on the bike. Here is a link http://www.americansportbike.com/shoponline/ccp0-p rodshow/16033.html

I found a locksmith that might be able to make some keys. I am going to go by there tomorrow and see what he can do.

The H-D key blanks of the same year match.
If you ordered from the dealership+VIN method, your new keys would proudly proclaim you as a H-D owner.

In fact, if you slide the grey plastic thingie from the Buell key......

If you can find a good locksmith in your area they can do these keys for a couple bucks. I had three made for myself.

If you live near santa cruz california I can refer you to the guy who did mine.

I lost my only key, I ordered one from the HD dealer, $25.00 and all I needed was my VIN number Way cheaper than a lock smith.

Oh, yeah, if you've lost your key, that's going to be expensive. I had my key so the locksmith was able to copy it for only a couple bucks.

+1, I've done this with all my bikes so far. Easy and nice to have OEM keys.

The gas cap has no tumblers.
You can turn it with your fingernail.
