Author Message   00green Posted on Monday, September 05, 2011 - 12:38 pm:        97 M2 was carb farting when cold and once in a while when going down the road. Installed new manifold seals and not a single fart! At the suggestion of a board member I did lubricate the seals with sil-glyde. Next time I pull the manifold I'm going to throw the allen bolts in the trash and replace then with 12 point bolts. For anyone who didn't know it, sil-glyde is available at auto-zone for $1.25. It's what they sell as brake lubricant in small packages by the cash register.   Buellistic Posted on Monday, September 05, 2011 - 01:01 pm:        Up-dated to hex head bolts years ago so that "i" could safety wire them ...
