Just replaced the old damaged Hella head light with a new one because the reflector was getting dull and didn`t shine out as far as it used to and to my surprise the new one shines down the road much better than the old one did before the stone chip caused the reflector to dull and also on low beam shines off to the sides of the road much better also. On low beam it emits a V pattern low in the center and high on the sides, according to the package it is the new European technology.
If anyone is interested the part# is 72 207
I purchased it from stylintrucks.com who are a Hella retailer

Thanks for the tip on the Hella. I was just getting ready to start looking for a Hella to replace my original which lost the low beam recently.

idk if thats a projector or just a bulb cover on the inside. I was looking for a projector housing so I could put an HID bulb into it without blinding oncoming traffic.

Looks like making a custom projector housing is the only way to go, huh?
