Author Message   Gmaan03 Posted on Saturday, September 03, 2011 - 01:41 pm:        My X1 starts fine, runs strong when accelerating. It seems to slightly surge when driving at a steady freeway speed, and acts like it is loading up when just driving around town. When I come to a stop it will back fire through the intake, not always just once in a while. The injectors were cleaned 5k ago, I replaced the engine temp and ATI sensor. I have a force wind intake system. Any suggestions?   Jdodd Posted on Saturday, September 03, 2011 - 01:47 pm:        Checked the intake seals? Exhaust leaks? Air filter clean? How's the fuel filter? Start with the easy to check stuff. Mine was doing similar things, turned out I had a bad intake seal and a bad set of exhaust gaskets. It flashed 13 Oxy sensor. I looked and found a big crack in my header almost all the way around the oxy sensor! I used some space tape to seal it up and am going to change the oxy sensor and try it out. It looks like a failure waiting to happen..... I'll order new exhaust gaskets, weld the crack in the header and replace the oxy sensor.
