i'm painting my tank for about the 3rd or 4th time. anyway i got to looking at my tank vent,it had something in it. so i unpluged it the part that the hose fits on. now when i screw it back together i can't blowe back through the vent ether way (no air can get into the tank no air out).i just had the upgrades done and they did something to the vent. theres this check valve thing in the tank that the hose fitting screws onto, whats wrong

"i" cut the bottom of mine off an ran the vent hose to my catch container where the rest of my vent hoses go ...
