No worries, sounds like something was corrupted in your EEPROM. Glad you got it fixed.

rode for about 450km yesterday, ran fine, one miss fire at cruise, i think i will check cam sensor wires for chaffing, etc. i ran for about 15 min in the o2 learn zone but once home my afr was still 100%, buell race pipe with an cheapwinder type intake. at 3500feet it should have changed somewhat.

I wouldn't worry about the single misfire or "hiccup". It could have been due to the ECM "reacting" to the transition from open loop to closed loop. A steady AFV value of 100% is normally a good indication of a balanced air/fuel delivery and tight intake/exhaust seals.

You know, I've never considered the "hiccup" might be the transition from open loop to closed loop.

i thought race maps generally run slightly lean,( AFV 100+) mine used to run between 110 and 117% before i adjusted my maps.
As Kalali sais you must have the bike setup spot on, at least in closed loop !!

so this hickup is a common problem? at the time i would have been in steady state cruise outside of the lcl zone and maybe out of cl, 3500rpm, and 120kmph. i made some marks on tape to indicate when i was in the lcl zone and kept the rpm below 3000rpm and went for a lengthy spin, again came back and the afr was 100%. does the bueja120 race ecm alter afv like the stock one? i have built a map that is stock map values below 3500 and race values above. the stock ecu on this bike runs better under 3000 rpm than the race ecu.

"I've never considered the "hiccup" might be the transition from open loop to closed loop.."

Well, for full disclosure, this conclusion has been primarily based on observation and experiment with (and without) the O2 sensor, etc., so for all I know this theory could be totally bogus. It does however appear to be fairly common on X1s.
As for the Race maps, overall the Race fuel maps are richer than stock fuel maps. The AFV of 117 indicated that the maps were too lean and the ECU was adding (roughly 17%) more fuel to compensate for the leanness. And both Race and stock ECUs read the data from the sensors (including the O2) and "adjust" the maps by changing the AFV to optimize engine performance.

last thing you want is running lean in open loop.

x1 race stock
EEPROM Values.
I am hoping to find Aus,Eng,Eur X1 2000 Race EEPROM print out like that.
You Guys in the US run bigger Headers than us. We are limited to 2" pipes where yours are 2.5". The noise factor I surpose, we don't have emission control. All the numbers are different.
I have my race EEPROM saved with no trouble codes. Learning curve happening here. I want to compare my Numbers with The original race eeprom to see if mine have been altered.Stock Buell Race Eur If anyone is able to help it would be appreciated.
