i think i just bought the wrong one and had it overnighted i need 1 part to get my bike back on the road and its taken over a week to find and get into my possession so i can install it. FML! |

I doubt it. My 2000 has an allen screw that locks into a slot on the inside of the aluminum swingarm. I don't know how the earlier ones did it. |

I thought they were interchangable, not sure if the calipers are interchangable to the bracket though. |

Sorry. I thought the old steel swingarm version had a cast aluminum thing that goes around the box section. I thought the steel arms were too skinny to have a slot like that back there. |
