Pretty sure there should be a gap. Sidestand looks like has side to side play around it's pivot pin. I think the mounting hole have elongated...is there a fix? Is it a concern? I might just glue a pad to the swingarm to prevent the chatter.

Does the sidestand hit a rubber bumper on the frame?

It should...and the bumper should keep it out of the swingarm : )

It makes contact with the rubber bumper, but the spring pulls it towards the swingarm. If I pull the sidestand away from the swingarm, I can see side to side play at the pivot.
