does anyone know the correct location of the windscreen decal on a 99 X1? When i bought my bike it didnt have a decal. When i repainted the bike a few years back I placed the decal on the left "clutch" side.... but looking at pics of other bikes... i see the decal on either side. Did different years have them on different sides?

thanks

Intake side, both of my bikes

One of my X1 Lightning's measures 2.75 inches up from the rubber at the bottom of the flyscreen that is over the chrome trim on the headlight.

The other X1 Lightning measures 3.00 inches up from that point.

Headlight is approximately 7.5 inches wide and both decals are approximately 2.00 inches from the left side of the headlight trim.

Just looked at my 99 sales brochures front cover and it shows an X1 with it on intake side so thats what im going to do.

Both of them measure from the intake side.

The '99 has the 2.75 and the '00 is the 3.00.

Sorry for the delay.
