Hooked up rear led turn signals with no issues. Now I hooked up some on the front and they do nothing and the back stay solid no blinking. The lights I used on the front are not specifically turn signals. Any thoughts? |

Not enough load to make the flasher blink. Or the wires are connected wrong. It should blink really fast because they draw like .5-1 amp each blinker and i think the system runs on a 24 amp. Mine blink really fast and i like it that way.....But some states it's illegal to have them flash fast. I have also found that if the blinkers are different brands they may not work together very well. You may need to add load resistors or get an l.e.d. specific turn signal flasher. |

You need some resistance. That, or the lights don't have a resistor on them at all. Most LED's don't pull enough juice by themselves to let the flasher know to flash. There are several kits out there to remedy this. http://www.customled.com/products/load_equalizer/l oad_equalizer.htm Check that out. |

a cheaper and quicker fix is to replace your flasher unit with an electronic one from any Auto Zone or other auto store. It plugs in just the same and works great for about $10 to $15. (might even be cheaper, it's been a few years since I replaced mine. |

Either add resistance or change your flasher, American Sport Bike sells one for LEDs. |

Auto zone sells a flasher relay for $9.99. I dont have the part number available but look closely at them. It says LED right on the flasher itself. Works great. |

Take your original with you. Physically it will match. Should be 3 prong. |

the flasher you need is part # EP 38. Replaced signals on both my Buells (x1 & m2) with LEDs, used this part and everything works fine. They are $9.99 a piece. They are located near the replacement bulbs at Autozone. Also, make sure you connected the leads to the signals correctly. Switching them can give you a solid and/or solid light. Hope this helps (Message edited by dex morgan on June 21, 2011) |

I believe they are made by Tridon EP 36 or EP 38 should both work. IDK about only the two prongs being used. That might be why yours is not functioning properly??? |

Thanks alot. I figured it all out. Made my load equalizers cost me under 3 bucks, and found used what looks like your instructions I found online. Everything works. Bought a led rear with integrated turns from Amazon for 35 says for a Duck but works custom made made my fronts. Just have to make a side mount license bracket tomorrow. |
