Will a chin fairing from a 01x1 fit a 01 M2 , is the hardware something I can fab or do I need original

i think the brake or shift linkage is in the way...theres something about it in the KV...

it fits fine on the S2 btw

Which shift linkage do you have?






If you have the new one the mounting block for the shifter is a one piece block on the M2 and S3. The X1 gets a two piece block and the chin mount point is sandwiched between the pieces. You could cut the plastic to slip it over the block, or cut the block in half and relieve (chamfer?) it where the halves meet to accommodate the fairing.

I think it will fit fine without any mods with the old boomerang shifter.
