Hey guys please review the below video. I did something dumb and now I gotta pay for it. I think I fried my starter or something. Thought it was my old battery, but Noooooooo. Input appreciated. What am I looking at cost, time to replace, etc? Thanks, Rich

It sounds like the solenoid is not engaging..Do you have a shop manual?

Yup. I'll check it. The relay would make a clicking sound?

sounds like the stater clutch. Time for a new starter. You can replace clutch for around $100.00 plus gaskets and fluids. You can replace the whole starter for around $160.00 plus gaskets and fluids.

It sounds like the starter motor is spinning but there is no evidence of a "clack" from the solenoid which would snap the spinning starter gear onto the clutch gear.

I would troubleshoot the starter solenoid looking for corroded electrical contacts and jammed or damaged starter shaft or gears.
