Hi everyone, new on here. I am rebuilding a 96 s1 lightning. Does anyone know where the ground strap goes on the frame?? I know one end goes on the rear isolator, but the manual doesn't show where the other end goes. Pics would be awesome! All help is greatly appreciated.

One end goe to the swingarm mount block, and the other goes to the regulator mount bolt at least on mine, since the regulator hasn't been moved.

I believe someone upgraded the battery. My regulator mounts on the side of the battery tray.

I think the spot should still be the same. It is a threaded insert on mine, with a bolt run through it to mount the regulator, and the strap attached to the extra length of the bolt, and a nut on that.

I just looked at mine & found the service bulletin about installing the new battery tray. There is a stud in the new tray just for the strap. Thanks for the help, this has been kicking my ass for a while
