Has anyone used a Jims Mega Nut on a Buell S2? My front pulley nut came loose and damaged the nut. I would like to not have this happen again. When I look this up all I see are references to "Big Twin" engines.

You'd need one that says it works on Sportster engines. Big Twin is ...well, the big engines. 1340 Evo, 88 and 96 inch twincams, and the new 103/110.

Loctite.

Primary locking tool.

Proper torque procedure.

The nut will stay put if installed correctly.

OK will keep looking.

I tightened it up to specs.

I guess it wasn't put on correctly to start with...

Same nut for EVo big twins and XL based motors (including Buell of course).

The great thing about the Jims Mega Nut is that it really is a belt and braces approach, and if you need to remove pulleys regularly it can be done up at a lesser torque than the stock nut and still stays on! I've used them a few times on race bikes mostly. Expensive for a nut but good products.
