Looks pretty good, it needs a vent though, doesn't it?

For "SAFETY" you should run the transmission breather to one, "WHY" you ask, well just think about getting oil on your rear tire !!!

Mounting it to the crossbar like that is a good idea. You should consider tweaking the hose routing a bit. If the oil has to run uphill to the catch can it'll just plug the line, especially if the can isn't vented.

With no vent, I don't know what would happen.
Mine has a vent, but the lines from the breather bolts go straight up and over the engine to the catch tank on the other side. The catch tank has some stuff in it. I can only deduce that the stuff was blown over the engine, in order for there to be stuff caught in the tank.

There is a vent, you cant see it. I used a muffler with a 1/16 NPT thread. It is behind the front hose. Very breathable but super low profile.. I did not like the big filters other breathers used. The clamps are billet, the can is made from brass tube, o-rings on top and bottom caps. The top unscrews with a brass thumb nut.

Oh and to drain; loosen the two screws, it slides out of the mount, remove top cap and pour out. I do not have to remove hoses from the top at all.
I am going to goof around with the hoses a bit.
I am going to tweak the design, I spent about two hours designing it and making it. total quickie job

Forgot, Hose routing!
I ordered some tubing and ferrells to re-bend the existing tube. But you can see the hose routing. The uphill flow is really not that bad, the picture distorted it a bit.

Dude - I love the little skull you put in the bolt hole for the plastic guard. I've just got a stainless button head in mine. I'm gonna have to dress it up a little.

..Gmaan03..i really envy of you to being in that work situation on two accounts.Being able to do those "fun" things there and have a cool owner to allow you to do that...now thats the kind of work environment that needs to be more of...would make life that much better AND a happy camper makes a more productive camper and everyone benefits all around.I'd say you have an excellent work environment...the kind of job you "love" to go to work to not something to help pay your bills and rent from(the salt mine scenerio).

Yes the company is a great place to work at! We are like family, but still respect each others job. I have been yelled at but it was for good reason.
