Worked very well. One thing to note the rubber cap on the sensor wire 90% of the time it won't stay in there (the hole it plugs) so if it doesn't don't worry about it to much.   5liter Posted on Tuesday, May 03, 2011 - 01:28 pm:        The cap that's in there now looks like a piece of charcoal.....   Pkforbes87 Posted on Tuesday, May 03, 2011 - 06:53 pm:        The location for this sensor changed, halfway through the 2000 model year I believe. My 2000 X1 has the HTS near the plug just like the heads on my 2002 X1 (heads from 2000 M2). Original heads from the 2002 X1 have the sensor in the center of the head. The new sensor had a Delphi connector on it that I had to remove. My bike just has a bullet connector. Unscrewed the old one, screwed in the new one, fished the wire through the head and done. The new one has a nice sleeve for protection from chafing in the head. (Message edited by 5liter on May 06, 2011)
