I am a new owner and rider of a 1996 s1. Was running fine then as I was parking at work my foot got stuck in between the shifter and peg and I laid it on its. Side. Then when leaving work the clutch levee anapest luckily its a short ride. I got another lever but now it just wants to grind when trying to get out of neutral any ideas

Bent shift fork or knocked shift shaft pawl out of spec.

Cool thanks I am taking it in tomorrow anyway because the previous owner did not know the difference between metric and standard nuts on the exhaust and striped two of them I can not get them out so I will have them go thru the bike
